Colby Jack is a 3 month old Mini Poodle neutered male. He is out going,
playful and loving. He will need basic obedience training as well as
potty training.
As a poodle he will need regular trips to the groomer to maintain his coat.

Cloey is a darling eight month old hound who is spayed and up to date
with her vaccines. She is a proper hound with the voice to match! She is
a sweet and sensitive girl who enjoys romping around. She is quite the
big girl, and is very strong on a leash. She will need leash work, and
to work on general house manners.

Copper is an outgoing 8 year old neutered male poodle/terrier mix who weighs around 45 lbs and was surrendered to the shelter with his sister, Lunah. Don't let his age fool you! This old man is just as spry and energetic as our young dogs when he's out running around the yard! He enjoys his toys and while he's definitely strong on the leash, he loves to take walks.

Loving, playful Bella is about 7 months old and weighs around 45lbs. She's a high-energy puppy who loves toys - and food! In spite of having a rough start in life, she's sweet and eager to please, though "stranger danger" is still in the fore of her mind. She takes a few meetings before she's comfortable with new people. Like any pup, Bella will need basic obedience training and leash work to improve her manners

Adam's a 2 yr old Rottweiler mix who wiggles and plays, sits like a gentleman, and goes everywhere with a plushy cheese! Although he LOVES everyone he knows - as you might expect, he's wary of strangers and it takes him longer to warm-up to men.

Rip is just entering the prime of his life- going on four years old, he's grown into a handsome and proper adult dog. He is one big boy – a whopping ninety pounds with no need to loose any weight. He is a Belgian Shepherd mix as per his DNA results, and carries over the intelligence and drive of this breed. Rip is a very smart dog who needs mental stimulation- he loves to think and have his brain challenged.

Michael is the sweeter of the two and enjoys human companionship once you've won him over. He's got charming face, that opens into the goofiest grin when he's pleased with himself. He's extensively wiggly from his head to his trail- as if the joy just CANNOT be contained. Michael is allergic to chicken and beef and requires a limited ingredient diet.

Sweet, but very shy, Butter Pecan is a 45 lb five-year-old spayed lab mix who was flown up from Puerto Rico around two years ago. Building trust with Butters is a slow, but rewarding process. During her time at the shelter, she's grown more and more comfortable with our volunteers and staff to the point where she's begun to accept affection and gets excited when she notices us arrive, so we're confident that while it will be a long process of working with her, she has the capacity to be a very loving dog.

Mike has a big personality and what a personality it is! Although he is very shy around new people when he is given the chance to come out of his shell, he becomes a sassy and confident dog. He may never be the most affectionate of dogs, but he loves to romp around in the yard. He knows what he wants and how he wants it, such as sticking his nose up in the air if dinner is not to his standards.

Upon first look Grover may seem to be a bit of a grouch. His appearance doesn't do him any favors, with the wild hair of a classic mad scientist and the eyes of a dog that thinks a bit to much. Under this shell is a truly sweet dog, so long as you take the time to get to know him. Grover is a fifteen pound neutered male Chihuahua/Shih Tzu mix, so he's on the smaller side of life. As Grover opens up with us we learn more and more of what he likes, such as hot dogs and back scratches.

Just as loyal as the hero he's named for- Percy Jackson makes his debut! He may not be as brave but this little dog has a heart the size of Olympus. It just takes some time for him to warm up to strangers. Fortunately, like many, the way to that heart is through his stomach, tasty treats and hot dogs being his favorites. Percy is about 1-2 years old, and is a neutered male chihuahua mix. Due to his nervous nature a home without kids would be best, but he does fine with cats!

Sweet Princess Cleo is a wonderful dog looking for the home just right for her! She is beautiful and very smart, with a charming disposition. Any activity is fun for Cleo, running around as fast as she can in a yard, or walk time on her leash (which she is very good at). You'll know she's ready to go by the tip tap of her feet as she dances in excitement. She is about forty pounds, and four years old. Cleo of course loves human affection, and will rub herself along our legs almost like a cat seeking attention.
