Our
shelter and the services we provide our animals are solely dependent
upon the concern and generosity of the people and businesses in our
community. We do not receive any public funds. We encourage you to learn more
about our organization, mission, work, shelter activities, as well as
how you can help make it all possible through your membership, financial
donations, sponsorship and volunteer support.
The Shelter is self-supporting and depends on the generosity of our friends, volunteers and benefactors to continue to serve our local communities.
The Animal Welfare Society, Inc. (AWS) was founded in 1965 as an independent, non-profit, non-destroy animal rescue organization. Our mission is to offer refuge to homeless and abandoned dogs and cats and place them in loving, responsible homes.
