AWS SENIORS FOR SENIORS
It is generally acknowledged that a senior person who lives alone will benefit medically and emotionally if they have a pet living with them to keep them company.
“The benefits of seniors having a pet are many and well documented through research and anecdotal evidence. Aside from the emotional uplift and companionship which combats loneliness and isolation, it has been found that the interaction with pets can actually lower both blood pressure and cholesterol levels, decrease depression, and even ease the pain of losing a loved one.” – SeniorLiving.com
