GIVE LOCAL 2024 BEINGS IN
Give Local's Giving Day 2024 will be Wednesday 7:00 a.m. on April 24 until Thursday 7:00 p.m. on April 25! This 36-hour online campaign unites donors, businesses, and local charities to provide much-needed support for our community.
Give Local provides the perfect opportunity to make a secure, tax-deductible donation to Animal Welfare Society. This year, donations up to $20,000 will be matched by our generous Match Sponsors! Donations will be matched dollar-for-dollar! Your $25 donation will mean $50 for AWS! Your $100 donation means $200!

The Shelter is self-supporting and depends on the generosity of our friends, volunteers and benefactors to continue to serve our local communities.
Our shelter and the services we provide our animals are solely dependent upon the concern and generosity of the people and businesses in our community. We do not receive any public funds. We place many dogs and cats over the course of a year, but many more are waiting for the opportunity to come to our shelter. We encourage you to learn more about our organization, mission, work, shelter activities, as well as how you can help make it all possible through your membership, financial donations, sponsorship and volunteer support.
The Animal Welfare Society, Inc. (AWS) was founded in 1965 as an independent, non-profit, non-destroy animal rescue organization. Our mission is to offer refuge to homeless and abandoned dogs and cats and place them in loving, responsible homes.
