PUBLICITY FLYERS AND EVENT INFORMATION

PRINT. SHARE. POST.

A key to successful event planning is getting word out to the community about upcoming events. AWS depends heavily on the support of all our friends and associates that help "spread the word" about our activities, fundraisers and events. One of the most effective ways that we can advertise and promote AWS is by having members and friends of the shelter print, share and post our flyers.

OUR GEOGRAPHIC AREA

AWS generally advertises events in the local towns the shelter services: Bridgewater, Brookfield, Roxbury, Washington, and New Milford, Connecticut. We do maintain a very favorable and interested following throughout Litchfield, Hartford, New Haven and Fairfield Counties. While most people that attend and participate in our events are from the immediate area, we welcome the opportunity of exposure throughout Connecticut and Western New York.

POSTING FLYERS

We ask that you are respectful of the business places where you are post AWS flyers. It is always good courtesy to check with someone of authority that the flyer is appropriate to the store, business or organization before you leave or post it. Some private, public and civic organizations have policies prohibiting the posting of flyers and posters, or may not feel that AWS is a suitable match to their particular clientele. Being respectful of these policies is of key importance.
