KETTLE

is a very sweet girl, once she's been given the opportunity to open up. Right now she most enjoys sitting on her bed and meowing for attention, getting a nice brushing, and of course- a good cat nap.

She would thrive in a nice quiet home that gives her the time to become the cuddle bug she wants to be, while pushing her to be more active as she is overweight.

Kettle is a 6 year old spayed female.

LORENZO

has an independent spirit - some would say he's shy - but he likes to be part of the action, and if you earn his trust he'll let you give him five minutes of affection, once a month! Lorenzo loves the company of other cats AND if you adopt one of our other cats, we can throw in Lorenzo for free! (His adoption fee is waved if he goes with a friend). So, do you like to be observed from a distance? Is the top of your cabinets in want of a lurking presence? Do you feel that earning the trust of an uncertain cat is the best possible reward? Please come visit handsome Lorenzo and maybe he'll become the lurking-presence of your heart!

Lorenzo is a one year old, neutered male, up to date on his shots and ready to be adopted.

MRS BIXBY

As quiet as a mouse, Mrs. Brisby is one sweet girl! She is coming out of her shell, but is still a little shy. She likes the peace and quiet by her window, and enjoys watching the other cats play.

Mrs. Brisby would appreciate a calm quiet home that  will let her reach out in her own time.

Mrs. Brisby is a 1 year old spayed female. She came to the shelter with her two kittens who have since been adopted.

TREBLE

is as sweet, but shy girl who enjoys the company of other cats and is beginning to seek attention from humans. With a little encouragement she will come out of her shell and make a great addition to the family.

SHANA

is sweet, but shy girl who loves to play with her best buddy Alexa. As a stray, she has not had much socialization however she is becoming more interested in  human interaction and will accept pets with a wand as well as hand pets on her back. She would do best in a home with another cat who can show her the way.  With patience she could blossom.

CAPTAIN

is our 11-year old senior, long haired neutered male. He is sensitive to change and will need a home that is patient and will let him adjust at his own pace. He is accepting of touch only to his head and loves to have his head scratched but be warned he doesn't like you going any further than that. He needs a home as the only pet as he does not like other cats or dogs.

Captain qualifies for our Senior to Senior Program.

OSLO

is a 2 year old short haired neutered male.

If Oslo got to pick a super power, he would absolutely choose invisibility. While he waits for that wish to come true, he settles for hiding among his cat friends in our community pen, hoping no one notices he's there.

His ideal adopter would probably be a cat lover who is fascinated by stories of Bigfoot and Nessie - you know, someone who can still love and admire a creature that's rarely (if ever) seen.

BENJAMIN FRANKLIN

is a 5 year old neutered tabby, who came to us after a death in the family. We know he was closely bonded with his elderly owner so we are hopeful that once he had enough time to settle into a new home he would come around and show his real personality. And who can resist the crossed eyes!?

Update: 11/22 Ben has had bladder stones removed and is on a urinary diet.

MUSKIE

is a 5 month old, neutered male Lynx Point Siamese mix. He came in as a stray and was not well socialized so he's spent 2 months learning to trust people  with our foster and is ready for a real home now. He will still take time to warm up to new people and new environments and doesn't like being picked up. He gets along great with other cats and would do best in a home with a feline companion to help him adjust.

CURIOUS KENJI

likes to sit and watch the day go by. He accepts being pet, but he's not quite sure how to feel about affection overall. Kenji is four years old and enjoys the company of other cats. Kenji would love a peaceful home to allow him to adjust to being around people.

Kenji is a 4 year old neutered male.

HUMPHREY

Humphrey is a sweet 9 year old neutered male who had been adopted from the shelter as a kitten and unfortunately had to be returned to us. He's a quiet guy who love to be pet and would enjoy a peaceful and consistent home where he can get all the love he deserves. He has an eye ointment that he gets twice a day and will likely need for the rest of his life.

PITCH

is a two year old neutered male domestic short hair. He was found as a stray and is nervous of people. As he gets to know the staff members here, he is getting a little more curious about making friends, and we do expect he will come around with some patience. In the meantime he does seem to get along well with our other cats, so going to a home with an outgoing cat may help him feel more comfortable around his new family.
