CHARLIE PUTH

Charlie Puth is a 3 year old orange medium haired, neutered male. He was signed over with 4 other cats when their owner went into assisted living. Charlie is more independent and will let you know when he's done getting attention. As he settles into a new home he may be more comfortable out of the shelter.

LONG JOHN

His owner died and a neighbor fed him for 6 months before he came to the Shelter. Although he is shy he has come down from the rafters and rests comfortably inside, out of the cold. He is becoming more comfortable around humans and with TLC, he could become a part of the family.

Long John qualifies for AWS Seniors to Seniors Program where adoption fees are waived for seniors (over 60) who adopt a senior cat.

SHANA

is sweet, but shy girl who loves to play with her best buddy Alexa. As a stray, she has not had much socialization however she is becoming more interested in  human interaction and will accept pets with a wand as well as hand pets on her back. She would do best in a home with another cat who can show her the way.  With patience she could blossom.

CAPTAIN

is our 11-year old senior, long haired neutered male. He is sensitive to change and will need a home that is patient and will let him adjust at his own pace. He is accepting of touch only to his head and loves to have his head scratched but be warned he doesn't like you going any further than that. He needs a home as the only pet as he does not like other cats or dogs.

Captain qualifies for our Senior to Senior Program.

OSLO

is a 2 year old short haired neutered male.

If Oslo got to pick a super power, he would absolutely choose invisibility. While he waits for that wish to come true, he settles for hiding among his cat friends in our community pen, hoping no one notices he's there.

His ideal adopter would probably be a cat lover who is fascinated by stories of Bigfoot and Nessie - you know, someone who can still love and admire a creature that's rarely (if ever) seen.

BENJAMIN FRANKLIN

is a 5 year old neutered tabby, who came to us after a death in the family. We know he was closely bonded with his elderly owner so we are hopeful that once he had enough time to settle into a new home he would come around and show his real personality. And who can resist the crossed eyes!?

NANI

is 5 year old spayed female, Lilac point Siamese.

She'd prefer to be the only pet or have plenty of space that she doesn't have to interact with other cats. She has been diagnosed with megacolon and will need to be on a special intestinal diet of I/D and given miralax with each meal.

PITCH

is a two year old neutered male domestic short hair. He was found as a stray and is nervous of people. As he gets to know the staff members here, he is getting a little more curious about making friends, and we do expect he will come around with some patience. In the meantime he does seem to get along well with our other cats, so going to a home with an outgoing cat may help him feel more comfortable around his new family.

SHEENA

is a loving and affectionate 3 year old short hair torbie. She came to the shelter with 5 kittens and was an excellent mother to them all. Now that her kittens have all been adopted, she is looking for a permanent home of her own. Sheena is sweet, playful, and outgoing.
