Animal Welfare Society would like to thank absolutely everyone that was involved in contributing to the success of the 2018 AWS Give Local Fundraiser. Your generous giving during this event truly assists AWS in providing food, shelter, medical care and affection to abandoned and neglected dogs and cats until they can be placed in responsible, loving homes. We are so very grateful for your support.
A special thanks to the Connecticut Community Foundation, and their staff, organizers and sponsors for hosting the event. They are truly a valuable asset to Connecticut's non-profit organizations.

VOLUNTEER. DONATE. SPONSOR
Your Generosity Of Time and Donations Makes It All Possible
Our shelter and the services we provide our animals are solely dependent upon the concern and generosity of the people and businesses in our community. We do not receive any public funds. We place many dogs and cats over the course of a year, but many more are waiting for the opportunity to come to our shelter. We encourage you to learn more about our organization, mission, work, shelter activities, as well as how you can help make it all possible through your membership, financial donations, sponsorship and volunteer support.
WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING...
“Fantastic people that make the adoption process smooth and easy. From first meeting the puppy I wanted to adopt, to visiting him until he was clear for adoption, they were there to help. I adopted Finn (formerly Benji) there and haven't regretted it for a moment! Thank you for bringing this wonderful pup into my life!”
